(3.)Training

CIF IVRI

Since inception, Division of Veterinary Biotechnology has been conducting training programs for scientists/researchers and technical staff of various State Agricultural Universities, Veterinary Universities and ICAR Institutes in the field of molecular biology/biotechnology. In the initial years international and national training courses were organized under aegis of PGET (Biotechnology) and Centre for Advanced Studies (CAS) in Animal Biotechnology. Subsequently, NATP funded project organized more than 10 short-term training courses (minimum duration of 3 weeks) in which more than 200 scientists including technical staff were given hands-on training on frontier areas of biotechnology.
