Technologies Developed

  • Glycoprotein E (gE) deleted mutant of infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) virus - developed as DIVA-based marker vaccine. (Patent under submission).
  • A rapid, sensitive and user-friendly visual LAMP-based assay - developed for detection of infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) virus in bovine semen. (Patent applied).
  • A Pestivirus based eukaryotic expression vector has been constructed utilizing minimal regulatory elements of classical swine fever (CSFV). (Patent applied).
  • A self-replicating DNA vaccine vector (pAlpha) utilizing Replicase gene of Sindbis virus has been developed for high level expression of immunogenic gene in DNA immunized host.
  • The classical swine fever virus (CSFV) Lapinized vaccine strain has been characterized by complete genome sequencing and analysis. Genbank Accession No. EU857642
