Diagnostic technologies generated
  • Developed and released of IgG and IgM ELISA kits for sero-diagnosis of Japanese encephalitis in swine and equines
  • Compared and fractionated different antigens of Brucella spp. for developing rapid and reliable tests including Plate ELISA for brucellosis.
  • Improvised enrichment broths/media for isolation of Salmonella, Listeria,Aeromonas, and Campylobacter jejuni.
  • A diagnostic kit (Multiplex PCR kit) for rapid and reliable detection of virulent Listeria monocytogenes in food and clinical samples. The developed kit was released in the ICAR General Body Meet held on March 06, 2012 at NASC Complex, New Delhi.
  • Developed nucleic acid based assays for diagnosis of JE in swine and mosquitoes

  • Ameliorative effect of Curd and Arjuna feeding on atherosclerosis lesions in lab animals
  • Nucleotide sequences of OMP 31 gene of B. melitensis isolates from India did not differ revealing its conserved nature
  • Isolation of C. burnetii from bloody faeces of a free roaming bird
  • Genotyping & partial sequencing of rotavirus revealed presence of reassortant & uncommon strains
