The laboratory has specialized facility for handling and processing various animal by-products to make into value added products. The laboratory has instrumentation to analyze various quality aspects of by-products like free fatty acids, peroxide value, saponification value, TBARS etc. This lab has played a vital role in developing technologies or processes to ensure the quality of animal products as per consumer demands and preferences.

Equipment: Water activity meter, Gerber’s centrifuge, Water bath, Bowl chopper, Hot plate Centrifuge, Deep Fridge, Refrigerator etc.
Major Achievements
The major achievement of Lab includes development pumpkin pulp incorporated whey based drinks, milk neemki, milk chips and ghee residue based milk products.
