The section of Veterinary Anatomy was created on 4th Nov,2015 with the initiation of undergraduate programme i.e. BVSc & AH at ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar (Bareilly). The Postgraduate programme was also started from Feb, 2025. The Section of Veterinary Anatomy undertakes theoretical and practical teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students as per Veterinary council of India (VCI) & ICAR. The Section has all the facilities, which are important to impart quality education to the Veterinary students. The Section has well equipped laboratory facilities for practical training to students including microscopic anatomy, osteology and embryology labs. Section of Veterinary Anatomy plays pivotal role in providing a strong foundation for ensuing multifaceted veterinary medical education and research. For the continued efforts and collective teamwork, the section has been appreciated and adjudged as one of the best maintained Section from time to time.
