Within a short period of two years approximately 1000 exhibits have been collected in Museum which includes models of animals/birds, miniature paintings and modern arts, manuscripts and books, coins, medals, postage stamps, photographs, veterinary science related old laboratory instruments, glass ware, animal driven carts and other related archival / historical materials. These exhibits have been collected from different parts of country and every day theirs number is increasing. The NAS&VEM is educating and inspiring children, students, common man, farmers, scholars, veterinarians and academicians for better understanding of animals, adapting veterinary science as career and increasing animal oriented food production. The Museum is providing knowledge and new information to pre-university, UG/PG students of SAUs/ Veterinary Universities of different parts of country visiting IVRI on educational tours. This is providing knowledge of history of Veterinary Science and its contribution in progress of country during recent years under NARS.
