Major Achievements

  • The Library at present houses more than 2,50,000 highly specialized reading materials, in the form of books, monographs, reference works, journals, published data, bulletins, reviews, advances, reports, pamphlets, theses, reprints and micro-documents, having 122 reading seating capacity.
  • This library is opted open access system for the users.
  • Dewey Decimal classification scheme is adopted to classify the library documents.
  • The Library provides Inter-Library Loan services, lending, reference and guidance services.
  • Library services are fully automated using KOHA Library Management Software.
  • The Library Reading Halls have WI-Fi facility and Internet facilities are provided to the users for accessing world wide information.
  • More than 22.50 lakh pages were digitized and uploaded on Krishikosh Portal of ICAR.
  • Almost all the thesis available in the library has been digitized.
  • More than 3000 thesis have been uploaded on Krishikosh Portal of ICAR.
  • On line access of the various journals is provided to the users.
  • The revenue is generated for the institute by providing Xeroxing and Auditorium facilities.
