Mandate

To plan/ organize trainings for Farmers, Officers of State Agriculture/ AH Deptt., Extension Functionaries etc.
To build collaborative programs for extension work with line Departments/ ICAR Institutes/ SAUs.
To coordinate PG teaching, Extension Education and Research Activities of IVRI
To organize transfer of technology programs
To develop a liaison with Akashvani/ Doordarshan/ local/ National media and newspapers, and also to develop appropriate programs for media coverage in collaboration with other Divisions/Sections.
