The institute has linkages with various national and international agencies creating opportunities for sustainable research and development, education, launching of new initiatives and development of strategies for their implementation. A large number of extramural funded projects under DST, DBT, MFPI, IAEA, ICMR, CSIR, MOEF, APEDA, CZA, DRDO, CCRH, BNHS, UPCAR, AICRP, Network Outreach projects, ICAR Niche Area of Excellence, etc. are in operation. Collaborative projects with FAO/ IAEA, USA, UK, World Bank and Australia are in hand.
